The 4th annual Rueda de Casino event, which took place for the second year at the Landmark Empire Hotel, attracted a lot of great talents from various cities across Canada and the USA.

Each team competes with one another, showing all sorts of salsa dance maneuvers. The team that shows the best in Rueda de Casino dance takes home $1000.00 and a trophy.

The last two teams left out of  more than 5 teams, were Grupo America and Rumbanana, both teams performed smoothly and flawlessly.

The judges were having a hard time making a decision - It was a very close one.

Seeing that it was a very tight decision, the judges asked both team to performed for two minutes each team one more time to make a final decision.

People were cheering loudly for their favorite team, as the last team finished dancing, it seemed that Rumbanana was going for the prize. And, indeed, Rumbanana took it.

The winners for last year's competition was Grupo America, the previous were Los Cumbancheros.

The Rueda de Casino Dance is a two day event. It is originally from Cuba and is a type of salsa dance, which is composed by several couples dancing in a group.
