The 2007 tourism challenge passport
The next couple of weeks i will be checking out many tourist attractions places in Vancouver. From historic Gastown to Hotels like the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center. It's going to be fun!
All the people who work in the tourism industry are eligible to participating in this contest. The tourism challenge passport runs from April 20th to May 31st.
In order to get my tourism pass, i need to get my booklet stamped 15 times, 12 must be from attraction places and 3 from hotels.
That's going to be easy, well, sort of. Some places such as the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden requires people to answer a few questions before getting your stamp.
My first stop was the IMAX theater at Canada Place. They asked me to watch a show in order to get my booklet stamped. Well, i did, since i really wanted to see the Lions 3 show anyway.
The tickets are 12.00 dollars for adults, however, since i am a participant of the Tourism Challenge Pass, i ended up paying 3.00 dollars for it. Good deal, eh!
When i finish collecting my points, i will be given my tourism pass. The card will allow me, plus one more person, to go to any participating attraction place for free, such as the Capilano Suspension Bridge.
